Verona Stables Facilities

Verona Stables consist of 4 barns:

* A stud barn
* A breeding barn
* A youngstock barn
* A show/racing barn

At the moment the youngstock barn is empty as we do not have any youngstock to care for. It is finished for the first foals/young horses to move in.

The breeding barn has so far only one mare in it, and as a company, she has a little Shetland pony with her in the stable. It's a fiften year old, chestnut gelding that loves to play tricks on both humans and horses alike and he helps to keep Sunny, in shape.

The stud barn consists of all our stallions that aren't competing in steeplechasing/flatracing.

The showing/breeding barn is the biggest one of course, housing all our flatracers/steeplechasers and endurance mares.

The pastures are green and lush and our horses seem to enjoy it, living their life to the full, playing in the pasture, and cuddling with their grooms in their stalls. The stable cats and dogs love to greet, guard, play and take care of their bigger friends.

Calling Bird is a handsome bloke with alot of heart and stamina already. He's just turned 2, but he acts like he's much older. Very well behaved, and he seems to like sprint distances, on dirt, but we'll see later in the spring when he starts racing for real.
